Build & sell an agent

Build an agent

Describe a workflow, and Kavela builds, tests, and publishes an agent for it.

You build agents by describing them to a builder, not by filling in forms. You say what the agent should do, and the builder writes the skills, creates the tools, asks for any connections, and helps you test before you publish.

Two ways to work

There are two places to build and edit an agent:

  • The builder (/chat/build) is a chat. You describe what you want and the builder sets it up, step by step. Use this to go fast.
  • The Studio is a direct view of everything the agent contains: its identity, skills, tools, personality, evals, pricing, and publish settings. Use this to edit a detail by hand or to work with your team.

Both edit the same agent.

The workflow

Describe it

Tell the builder the job in plain language. It replies with a plan before it builds, so you can correct it early.

Let it set up skills and tools

The builder writes skills from your knowledge and sets up the tools and connections the job needs. You connect any accounts yourself.

Test your agent

Run the agent on real cases with evals. Each case passes or fails, and you can see why. A readiness check flags anything missing before you publish, such as an untested tool or a skill that doesn't add value.

Price and publish

Set a price, or keep it free, connect a payout account, and publish. You get a link to share and a marketplace listing. See Publishing & versioning and Pricing & payouts.
