- Claude: approve the sign-in page that opens, then paste back the code it shows.
- Codex: enter the code Kavela shows on OpenAI's device sign-in page.
The sign-in runs the CLI in a Kavela cloud computer. The account's token stays on Kavela's side and is never sent to your browser.

Cost
Your plan pays for the model. Kavela credits pay for the minutes your agents work and for tools that cost money to run.
Plan limits
When your plan reaches its limit, the task waits and continues after the plan resets. It does not switch to paid credits on its own.
